Apartamentos Playa Feliz

I’ve been here 7days now, and the service has been great. The mattress is really hard, though, and even with being tired enough to pass out quickly, it’s not comfortable. The little supermarket is handy for an ice cold coke when it’s hot. The living room was really cold while the bedroom was hot, so I’d recommend another ac in the room. Keep food stored in the kitchen, because ants come out from the wall if you leave it in the open. I learned that the hard way after leaving a kinder egg out 🤪🤣

A very nice hotel in a relatively quiet spot, though it’s close to the bigger centers.

The people here were lovely, from reception to the restaurant, and the food was great. There’s a supermarket stocked with pretty much anything you might need, plus lots of clean pools that stay open late. The apartments and facilities were all neat and clean too. We only needed help arranging taxis, and they always showed up within five minutes at a reasonable price. We’d definitely come back.

The pool was nice, and the location made it easy to drive around the island. There’s plenty of parking nearby, with shops and restaurants close at hand, so you can manage without going far. Our apartment was a decent size for two and could fit three, with enough basics for simple meals and a good hot shower. The seaside promenade is right there, with lovely sunrise views. The downsides: the beds were singles and not very comfortable, and the cleaning was just a quick wipe. The floors weren’t cleaned during our week. Service felt very minimal. Some apartments are privately owned, so guests and residents were a mixed bunch. We ate once at the large hotel next door and found the food dreadful and the atmosphere chaotic. It’s basic self-catering accommodation, handy as a base if you rent a car and want to explore. I wouldn’t rule out staying again for that kind of holiday.
