I can’t make sense of the high ratings, especially on booking.com, where people list plenty of complaints and still give it 9 or 10 stars. That’s misleading. It’s not a terrible place, but people should know what they’re booking. The hotel is very worn and needs renovation. The advertised double bed was actually two flimsy singles pushed together, with nothing to keep them in place. The pool isn’t heated, and the whirlpool function seems to have been broken for a long time. Cleaning was a joke: according to the paper from reception, sheets are changed after seven days. Reception wasn’t much help either. There were no toiletries on arrival, not even a bar of soap to wash your hands, something I’ve never encountered elsewhere. I’d give it 2.5 out of 5, but since that isn’t possible, I’m giving it a 2. It definitely doesn’t merit three stars. I hope people take these points into account.

The apartment was clean, and housekeeping came every two days with fresh towels. We had a good stay overall and would recommend it.

The place made a good impression, with clean rooms, a relaxed style of service and a brilliant location. Booking in advance can get you a very good price with free cancellation. Just so you know, there are no irons in the rooms, and using the safe costs extra. I don’t think that’s very customer-friendly.

A really lovely, spacious and clean apartment. We stayed for two weeks and will definitely return. The bedding was changed three times a week, and all the staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. It’s in a fantastic spot in Playa Del Ingles, with all amenities an easy walk away. Even Yumbo Centrum is about 20 minutes on foot. Boncemar bus stop is just around the corner, making it easy to get to most places. Highly recommended.

Awful place. The apartment was filthy, full of cockroaches, and the pool area was too small. The bed and sofa felt like stone. They banned healthy cats, so please don’t support those crazy people.
