Bungalows Parque Romantico I Y Ii

We chose this place after reading strong reviews, and the price when we booked was similar to other renovated bungalows and well-rated hotels. The grounds were peaceful and very well kept, and we liked the older style. Reception and housekeeping were good too. The bungalow was another matter. There was mold across the walls, especially in both bedrooms, with a few patches that looked as if someone had tried to clean them. We only noticed after unpacking in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen, and couldn't believe a family with children had been given it. We were offered a move, but the available bungalow was very close to groups who sat out late drinking wine, which didn't seem suitable for children trying to sleep. Some of the bungalows are close together. The shower pressure was very weak, so washing long hair took a while. The water temperature problem was fixed quickly. The main pool was meant to be heated, but we found it so cold we got out after a few minutes. Later we found the second pool much warmer. It would help to have the temperatures posted at reception. We paid 230 euros a day and I wanted to complain about the mold, but unfortunately I couldn't get in touch with the manager.

The staff were wonderful, and the resort was clean with a nice pool. It's in a quiet spot, which suited us, and seems good for families with toddlers or anyone after a peaceful holiday. Teenagers might find it a little too quiet. Eating and drinking at the resort was reasonably priced, and the Cita shopping centre is nearby. I'd gladly recommend it and return. Five stars.

The grounds are peaceful, private and beautifully green, with local plants around the bungalows. The pool is a good size and has a lifeguard, and everything felt clean and well managed. The staff were excellent and helpful. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but the menu and food we saw looked like a special dining experience. I stayed for a week in November 25. The self-contained bungalow had what we needed: a hob, microwave, kettle, fridge and all the utensils. The living room was basic, but there was a TV with access to Netflix and other services. The beds were comfortable, the AC kept the place cool, and there was loads of storage. The bathroom facilities and water pressure were great. I think the two-star rating may be because the units are self-contained, since it felt much higher than that to us.

The restaurant was outstanding. Hot water, though, wasn't reliable during the week, and both of us had lukewarm showers several times.
