Vista Oasis

The room was clean, though pretty hot and humid. There wasn't any air conditioning, just one fan. I shared with two other people, and we had a twin bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living room. For the price, I thought it was worth it. The food selection at the buffet was okay and fairly healthy. I wasn't keen on the desserts, but the fresh fruit was great, especially the sweet melons. The pool was a good size for the number of people there in September. Some nights there were pool tables and karaoke, which was fun, but other nights had no music or entertainment. There's not much shopping nearby apart from SPAR down the road. A taxi to the nearby shopping centre or beach was easy to get.

We stayed from 9 to 13 September. If you're after somewhere to sleep, this place is fine, but don't book a two-star hotel expecting luxury. The rooms were clean and perfectly okay, though a little dated. We could always find something to eat. The drinks seemed watered down during the day, but were decent at night. Staff were perfectly fine, no problems there. For a cheap getaway, I'd definitely come back. I wouldn't put much stock in most of these reviews.

The restaurant was a real plus. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all tasted good and had proper flavour, though you shouldn't expect anything fancy. There was enough to eat, but no snacks or other food during the day. Sometimes the bar was simply closed, which was a downside. It's a small bungalow village, but it has what you need, with roomy rooms and good beds. The walls are incredibly thin, though, so I hope your neighbours understand people need to sleep at night 😀 The warm pool had a lovely atmosphere, and there was always a lifeguard. Reception stayed open all the time, and the team there were great. Tennis, ping pong, and buses to the dunes were free. Laundry cost 5 euros. Some British guests didn't dress for dinner, which I hope changes someday. Good value for money, and I'm sure we'll come back.

We were a group of three there for some sunshine, and we did enjoy the holiday overall. The island was lovely, though I wasn't as keen on Hotel Vista Oasis. Most staff worked hard and were very pleasant, but service from reception was lackadaisical at best and downright rude at times. Food choices were limited and repetitive day after day, while drinks were generous and served quickly. There wasn't regular entertainment, which disappointed us. All-inclusive ended at 10:30 pm, then at 11 the lights in the seating area went off. With nothing within walking distance, we went to bed. On departure day, we asked about extending the room and were told no. We then asked if we could pay for the all-inclusive band, and the receptionist laughed while cutting them off. We also weren't allowed lunch that day because we'd had lunch on arrival.
