Campo Golf Bungalows

The bungalows are a bit rusty and the green paint is pretty worn, but I still recommend the place. For the price, you get a lot of benefits, and we've stayed here several times.

The pool and sunbeds could only be used from 11:00am to 18:00pm, which was disappointing if you wanted an early swim. We visited in December, so those hours, and maybe reception's hours too, could depend on the season. Reception is open from 09:30am to 13:00pm. If you arrive later, you may have to wait until the next day to use things like the room TV and safe, though you can pick up your keys at the café next to reception. There's also an onsite café with a selection of food and drinks at very reasonable prices, and a handy shop for everyday basics. We've stayed at Bungalows Campo Golf many times over the years. The accommodation and grounds are always clean, and the staff are always friendly. We had a very enjoyable stay again, and it didn't disappoint.

Campo Golf is a belting place to relax without spending a fortune. The onsite Chinese restaurant is gorgeous, and there's a well-stocked shop with reasonable prices. Staff are friendly, the grounds are beautifully kept, and the pool area catches the sun all day, with loads of sunbeds and parasols. Our bungalow was spotless and serviced daily, with fresh towels and bedding. It's easy to get a taxi from the road a few minutes away. The location worked well for us.

I'm a regular customer, but that didn't seem to matter when Covid meant I couldn't fly. Booking dot com contacted the complex about five times to ask whether I could have a voucher, and they refused. I lost €700, even though family members had been affected by the disease. I wasn't even asking for a refund. No empathy at all, just a disgraceful, money-grabbing situation. Shameful.
