The hotel is about 200 meters from the beach, with a lovely long coastal promenade nearby. The rating of two stars feels justified, though. The building is dated, with exposed wires in the hallways, worn room furniture, and nowhere in the bathroom to hang a towel. The shower tray was damaged and rusty, patched with a thick layer of silicone that was already peeling. The toilet stopped working, and reception said we'd have to wait because nobody was available to repair it. The door wouldn't stay shut unless locked, otherwise it opened on its own. The rooms are apartment-style, but there was very little kitchenware and what we found was dirty. They cleaned daily and changed towels twice a week. The hotel is mostly occupied by the LGBT community, so it definitely isn't a place for families with small children. For a hotel this large, the pool is small and already in the shade after 3:00 PM, with only one tiny playground beside it. The food choice is limited too, although anyone who's hungry will find something to eat.

I chose this hotel for my birthday trip, and it turned out to be the best hotel experience of my life. What a place, staff, and location! Jose, Misael, Monica, and all the other staff, whose names I sadly can't remember, were incredibly polite and welcoming. My only suggestion is to have more vegetarian options. Apart from that, everything was perfect! ✨

This hotel has some real positives. It's affordable and near beaches and shops. The pool area is pleasant but basic, and the restaurant is clean and well run. Some staff were lovely, including Marco at reception, Luis in the bar and restaurant, other bar and restaurant staff, and the cleaners. Our deluxe room was nice, with two bedrooms and two balconies. I was sharing with friends, so a lock on the bathroom door would have been useful. It was my friend's birthday, and a restaurant and bar worker, a tall, slim guy with dark hair, a moustache, and goatee, arranged a cake and set the breakfast table with a birthday note. A really lovely gesture. The downsides left a bad feeling. On our last day, we went to reception at 9am to ask about extending the room because our flight was late. Julia, who was quite curt and abrupt, insisted on cutting our wristbands off right then, even though checkout was at noon. At 10:50 I felt unwell and went to the bar for water so I could take tablets for a bad headache. A young, very short guy with a moustache said I'd have to pay. I thought it might be because my wristband had been cut, and tried to explain it was still my last day and I was staying until later. I didn't know the bar didn't open until 11am, so I was only ten minutes early. He called over his senior colleague, a bald man in a white polo, who also wanted me to pay, but eventually gave me water. I wasn't asking for alcohol or anything fancy, just water. As I walked away, they both watched me and talked about me. I stayed polite, but was confused. The food is very basic, and as a vegetarian I struggled to find much besides chips, salad, and an occasional pasta dish. The previous year, I stayed in an older room where the shower flooded and the bathroom handle broke off while the door was shut, leaving me locked in. I understood it was a basic hotel, but after these experiences I'm not sure I'd book again. I'd rather spend a little more for better food variety and standards.

I stayed for ten days. I know Spain is a hot country and insects are to be expected, but finding cockroaches while eating was unappetizing. The staff were lovely for the first few days, but then we noticed dirty looks at mealtimes. We even asked for a few Spanish phrases so we could be friendlier with the staff who didn't speak English. Four days into the trip, my purse was stolen. The police were involved, and I had a case number and proof that my card had been used after I froze it. Since we don't speak Spanish fluently, we asked the white-haired woman at reception to help call the taxi service in case it had been left there. We went back four times and never accused hotel staff, but afterward we were treated as if we were rude and disrespectful. The cleaners became cold toward us and didn't properly tidy our rooms. On the 28th, the day before we went home, my stepdad, who is in his 50s, slipped on a wet patch on the dining room floor. There was no warning sign, and his ankle became inflamed and needed ice. We told staff the floor was wet so they would know. Less than 30 minutes after they returned to the hotel room, the phone rang. Reception said they had to report the injury to management, and the manager told her to warn us that “one more complaint and we'd be forcibly removed from the hotel.” The hotel isn't worthy of its star rating. It's cheap and it shows. WiFi is free only in the lobby, and in-room WiFi costs £27 for a week. Only two elevators work, the bathroom doors have no locks, and there isn't even soap for washing your hands. Cleaning is five times a week, but they only sweep, mop, and make the beds. If there are dirty dishes, they just rinse them. This was my first trip abroad, and I'd say pay attention to the star rating. I'd gladly spend another grand to be treated like a human being instead of a pest. The pools are cold, the food feels like school dinners, and I'd get better service from kindergartners.

It's very good value, but honestly, unless you're drinking loads of the all-inclusive booze, it doesn't seem worth it. Kay at the bar was lovely, though, and the price was good. The overall quality wasn't. Our room was awful. We booked a deluxe studio, but it had woodchip walls, broken floor tiles, paint that needed redoing, plug sockets hanging off the walls, and cockroaches. There was a strange smell from the drains and no air conditioning. The beds were hard and rickety, and as a couple we got two singles. The hotel was fully booked. Our room was near the service area, so we could hear cleaners making noise early in the morning. The food came from large vats and was neither hot nor appetizing, so we ate out most nights. The bar chairs were tired plastic ones, and the place needed a thorough clean and a fresh coat of paint. I've added photos of our so-called deluxe room.
