The terrace has a fantastic view, though getting up the driveway was a bit nerve-racking. It’s a quiet, out-of-the-way spot that works well when you want a break and a chance to reset.

You get gorgeous scenery and a wonderfully quiet country estate in the mountains. At night and in the evenings the stars are beautiful, with only dogs barking and a donkey howling for company :P The access is tricky for beginners, but you get used to it and it becomes enjoyable ;D

I’ve been back at least once a year for years. The house is well looked after and has everything you need, and the staff are attentive and helpful. It’s incredibly relaxing there, surrounded by nature and quiet.
