We'd look to stay again if we come back, and I'd recommend the place. It was excellent value for money and delivered the important things we wanted. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, and the building is small, with a small but nice pool and lounging area. The location is perfect, within walking distance of Playa Del Ingles and the Yumbo. There's plenty of free street parking nearby, though Friday nights get busy and a bit loud. Getting in means calling the number on the front or back gate so someone can let you through. We were lucky that the fantastic cleaner was heading out as we arrived and helped us. A few things could be improved: there's no oven in the kitchen, the Wi-Fi didn't work for us, and the TV has very little English programming, really just BBC news. The drains smell sometimes, and the hot water tank is small, so leave time between showers. There's no air conditioning, but there is a ceiling fan.

The location is great, close to the beach, supermarkets and Yumbo, with parking easy to find. The living room is spacious, the bed was comfortable and the place had recently been renovated. As usual, the cleaning ladies were excellent. We had a ground-floor room, though, and it was a bit damp, especially the smell. The shower doors don't shut properly, so water gets onto the floor. Lights in the corridor switch on when someone comes into the building, and they're right by the bedroom, so their light made it hard to sleep at night. The internet was weak and unstable, and they charge to use the safe.

The staff were friendly, but we found cockroaches crawling through the living room. They gave us bug spray, which turned the apartment into a gas chamber because there was no ventilation. We decided to change hotels partway through our stay.

These newly renovated self-catering apartments are incredible. The rooms are spacious, and there's a gorgeous pool and sunbathing area. Book now and thank me later.
