HL Suitehotel Playa del Inglés

The top terrace was our favourite, with its bar and Jacuzzi. The hotel is close to the beach and buses. Playa del ingles itself could use some work, with its old, scruffy and empty shopping centres, but that's beside the point about the hotel. We just got back from a great week. Room 204 was good and clean, the buffets were great, especially sushi night, and all the staff were really nice, from reception to housekeeping. The atmosphere was great too.

The only drawback for me was the jacuzzi area, which was hard to step into without a handle. Otherwise, a very nice hotel, with a lovely pool area and helpful, friendly staff. It's extremely clean, the rooms are nicely laid out, and the big walk-in shower was great. Food was fresh, varied and plentiful.

We had a lovely quiet week here. The rooftop bar is great and the staff were fantastic. The dining room staff worked really hard at mealtimes. Our room was basic, with a balcony and a big shower, and there was lots of food. I especially liked the fresh juices and prosecco.

We stayed in room A4A when we visited Suite Hotel Playa Del Ingles again in January 2026. The staff, hotel and location were fabulous. From housekeeping through to top management, everyone was warm and service-minded. The reception team were exceptional. The room was fantastically clean, and both the food and dining service felt like a five-star experience. Thank you to Moises, Lucy, Jeray and Octavio, and to the wonderful housekeeping, cleaning and dining staff. You all made this a fantastic holiday and a special time for us both.
