Hotiday Gran Canaria Maspalomas

The food was delicious, and the staff were always friendly. Everything was clean, and the grounds were beautifully landscaped and very well kept. The bungalow wasn’t the newest, but it was maintained well, and the bathroom had been renovated. The entertainment was really good without being intrusive. There were plenty of seats and good sun loungers, and we never had to reserve anything. We could always find a parking space for our rental car in front of the hotel. The beach was a 15-minute walk away, and the lighthouse took another 15 minutes from there. You can count on the Allsun standard. Objectively, there was nothing at the hotel we could complain about. Just keep in mind that this isn’t a five-star luxury hotel. It offers a solid four-star standard at a good price, and anyone booking with that in mind should be happy. January 2026

It felt more like a little village than a hotel, with the villas arranged around the pools, bar and restaurant. I was comfortable there and had a really good time. We came with two small kids, and there were plenty of other children of different ages. The staff were helpful and friendly, and sorted out our room lighting issue very quickly. One pool was heated, though only a little, and the main pool felt cool in March. Still, we swam almost every day. It never felt crowded, and there were lots of free loungers and places to sit. The walk to the beach is a bit over 1 km, doable on foot, and taxis are fairly inexpensive. The buffet was decent, if nothing special.

We left because of NARA at reception. Another receptionist had agreed to our small, reasonable request, but she turned it down rudely and acted as if guests had to do whatever she said. She came across as arrogant and disrespectful, like she owned the whole hotel and could decide everything. Honestly, if you don't want to be treated rudely, I'd advise against coming here. I hope anyone planning a relaxing holiday doesn't have to deal with her. A German friend had recommended the hotel to me. The place itself isn't bad, and I'd give it three stars, but NARA's behavior really put us off. A receptionist like that leaves a very bad impression and won't encourage tourists to return.

The green gardens and pool area were the best part, really clean and worth five stars. Our room was in the second row near the pool bar. It was big, spacious and seemed renovated, with a bathroom that looked quite new, so I can imagine staying here for a longer time. The waiters were nice, the gym was fine and the bar was okay. The coffee wasn't tasty, and the wine was pretty “special” too. We were here for only two days. We've stayed at many allsun hotels before, and this one wasn't the best. Nice place, but the food wasn't very tasty.
