Las Dunas

We stayed for a longer time as a couple, and it was a pleasure. Our apartment had a lovely sea view and a fully equipped kitchen, while the cleaning service was absolutely top-notch. The hotel was really quiet, and the pool area was nice. It had everything we really needed. Recommended, and thanks for a lovely stay!

Bright and airy, with a big balcony and good sea views. The place was very clean and comfortable, the staff helpful, and the amenities were adequate. Everything in the kitchen worked, and the pool was nice. The sea is a short walk away, and the supermarket is 500 metres away. There's no English TV channel. It's almost half the price of nearby places and just as good, so don't pay silly prices elsewhere. I'm booking again.

The pool area was nice, with free foam cushions for the loungers and a lifeguard on duty. Every apartment faces the pool, and the upper floors also have sea views. The location is great, only minutes from the beach, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There are two single beds and plenty of bedroom storage, but not enough power points for charging devices, and the bedroom had no working one. The sofa in the living area is just a two-seater and doesn't turn into a bed, so it's only suitable for a child. The kitchen has a fridge, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There's no hairdryer, although one was supposed to be available. TV costs extra, and WiFi is included in the apartment price plan or available for an extra charge. Reception hours are limited, check-in isn't available before 1:30 pm, and there are very few public parking spaces on the road outside. Linen is changed once a week, with clean towels every two days.

The location in Maspalomas is a real plus, with shops nearby and the beach just a four-minute walk away. The place was very clean, the staff and cleaning ladies were friendly and helpful, and the pool was clean and pleasant. Still, after a week there we wouldn't recommend it or return. It's badly dated, and the beds and living-room sofa bed were so uncomfortable that the floor felt like a better option. The kitchen has no oven, which was a nightmare for us since we always book self-catering, and there wasn't much cutlery or cookware. Wi-Fi was poor, and there were no famous breakfast rolls in the mornings. Nights were noisy from people outside and in the corridors. With temperatures around 26 degrees, closing the windows wasn't practical, and there were no ceiling fans.
