Lightbooking Sun Club Apartment

Drifting off to the sound of waves breaking on the shore was so restful. The accommodation was well equipped, and there were lots of empty sun loungers for lazy days. The location is fantastic, almost right on the beach. We all had a good time.

We were here for a week and had a really good experience. The apartment had everything we needed, and both the couch and mattress were very comfortable. The beach and pool are close by.

We really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean, and our questions were answered quickly.

With Playa Aguilla (Bay of Eagles) just outside, you get a pebble and sand beach, clear water and some natural shade. There’s private access down about 20 steps, and we could usually find a bit of sand to ourselves. Sun Club is far enough from the bigger resorts to feel quieter. The shared pool is large and clean, with a lovely sunbathing area. Many poolside apartments have their own gardens, so the pool area stays fairly quiet and there are always sun beds free. For food and shops, the only restaurant in the bay is Rincon, which we found overpriced and unwelcoming. A walk north along the oceanfront promenade takes you to shops and restaurants serving a large hotel and bungalow complex, plus a good sized supermarket. There’s plenty of choice for food there. It’s a tranquil, relaxing place that seems well suited to more mature holiday makers. Some families stay too, so you may hear babies squalling and children shouting. In winter, apartment owners often renovate, so there can be building noise during the day.
