It's a very gay-friendly resort, and the neighbors are nice and always say hello. The apartments are clean and pest-free, with a nice ocean view. The pool is cleaned every day and the lawn gets mowed. The cute pool boys greet you in Spanish or English, depending on which language you use. Five out of five.

The two apartments, number 1 and number 4, are rarely rented out, according to other residents. Number 1 is old and dirty, with shabby fixtures and fittings, and its faulty electrical supply cuts out whenever more than one appliance is on. Number 4 is just as shabby and also has an ant infestation. Both sets of keys are damaged. The manager will try to charge you for replacements to con you out of money. He also asks for 15 euros in cash to rent the safe. Give him the exact amount in notes or he won't return your change.

Ramiro is a super host, and we had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, right by the beach, with a great unobstructed view. You're far enough from the big crowds, but close enough to go somewhere when you feel like it.
