The grounds are pristine and really well looked after. It’s a lovely place to rent an apartment with a magnificent ocean view. The pool feels too cold for a long swim, though it’s refreshing on a hot day.

We were often interrupted outside by gardeners watering the plants and standing on the terrace while we were sitting there. We hardly ever got to enjoy the outdoor space. Then there was the horrible plumbing smell: whenever we flushed, showered or used the tap, we had to open all the windows and doors for several minutes to clear it. Construction at the neighbouring house woke us on the first morning. It was being renovated, and the loud noise started at 8:30 every weekday and went on for hours, making it impossible to enjoy being outdoors. This was a very unpleasant place to stay. We won’t come back, and I’m leaving out some of the other issues we faced. Totally not worth the money, and the people were unfriendly.

I can only give an honest review of somewhere I’ve visited several times. I’m a doctor living and working here, and people often ask me about resorts, hotels and similar places. I know some wonderful, luxurious apartments in this well-kept, high-end complex. The property has a perfect location and a breathtaking view of the Atlantic, but I can’t offer any more details.
