Palm Oasis Maspalomas

The only snag was finding out at checkout that we had to pay extra for water and other drinks with meals. Breakfast and dinner were included, but nobody had told us drinks were charged separately, so the water bill caught us by surprise. That should have been explained beforehand. Otherwise, we had a very good stay at this hotel in Maspalomas with our family. The hotel was clean, nice and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout. Our apartment was spacious with a great view, and it worked very well for a family trip. We really enjoyed our time there.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the whole site was spotless. Our room was cleaned daily except Sunday. We don't usually return to the same place, but Palm Oasis was amazing. We expected a budget holiday, but got great value for money. Our ground-floor apartment was a good size, with a big balcony conveniently near the pool. Both pools looked nice. We used the upper one, since the lower one seemed more geared to younger children. People got a bit worked up about sunbeds, but we had no trouble finding one, and there were always spares. The pool towels were handy, though they all looked alike, so we put our own down as well to recognize our loungers. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but went to the pool bar daily for drinks, coffee and beer. Happy hour seemed to run from 11-12 and 4-5, and was good value. There's a basic gym with two treadmills, both of which were faulty at some point, plus a cross trainer, bikes, weights and a cable machine. There aren't many restaurants nearby, just a few dotted around. We tried the Love and Hate Pizza place one night and thought the food was good and well priced. We mostly took taxis to Faro de maspelomas, around 7 euros, where we found some really good restaurants. Aldi nearby had everything we needed, and the bakery was a godsend for breakfast and snacks. El tablero shopping centre is a 10-minute walk if you're mobile, or 4 euros by taxi. It has some good shops, including Zara, Stradivarius and Pull & Bear.

We had a lovely week there as a family at the end of february 2026. The staff were really friendly, and our son had a great time with the lovely woman at reception. Thanks again! We're already planning to come back.

It's always as perfect as I remember. Palm Oasis is a beautiful, relaxing, well-managed place close to Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. The staff work hard and are always friendly and welcoming. They really make the holiday. The apartments are dated, but kept immaculate. There's everything you need if you decide to stay in and cook.
