Parquemar

My room was spotless each day, and the reception staff were so warm and helpful. The WiFi was fast enough for streaming and keeping in touch, too. Had a fantastic, relaxing stay at Bungalows Parquemar! 🌴✨

The pool was great, and the location was excellent. I’d already booked a longer visit for next year before I’d even left. The welcome at reception was lovely, my room was cleaned impeccably, and the WiFi was really fast. Such a fantastic stay at Bungalows Parquemar! 🌟🌴

We loved the cats, and there was loads of food nearby. The place was clean, spacious, good value, and street parking was easy and free. The location is great. The building is a little old, not many rooms face south, and the pool isn’t heated. The hotel next door played loud music every day until 22:45. Aside from those things, all great!

We left the next morning and booked an Airbnb down the road. Avoid this place. The manager came after we raised our concerns, but when I said we were leaving he didn’t want to come in and look at anything. I practically had to insist. The cleaning manager kept looking at her phone. We’d arrived to a new-looking reception, which gave a false sense of security, then found a stray cat trying to get through an apartment door that wouldn’t stay shut unless locked. There were problems all over the apartment: black mold around the window frames and behind the beds, plus mold across the backs of the curtains; rough paintwork on every stair; broken fly screens full of builders’ rubble; sharp broken tiles at the entrance; an overgrown lawn; exposed, rusty pipework dripping in a dirty bathroom; yellowish sheets that were supposed to be white; a filthy children’s pool where stray cats drank; shelves coming off the walls; and a broken sink surround that was sharp in places.
