Rocas Rojas

It really seems to depend on which apartment you get. I stayed three weeks. Mine was clean and nice, with a good view, but it had no electric kettle or microwave at first. I told reception, and got the kettle after two days and the microwave after five. The internet worked during my first week, then was out for the next two. I kept asking about it, but it made no difference.

The pool area was good, and it's a peaceful, friendly neighborhood, not too far from the beach. The airport is about 20 minutes away, and the south of Gran Canaria usually gets sun and good weather. I didn't find anything to complain about during my stay. I lived in a company-owned apartment, so I can't say what the rental apartments are like. Some may be privately owned and rented out part-time, so their condition and standard could vary. Parts of the neighborhood could use repairs. I'd recommend hiring a car to see more of the island.

I got a really nice curly blow-dry at this hairdresser's, and they washed my hair very well. While I was there, they also helped an elderly woman and gave her a cushion so she'd be more comfortable. I'd highly recommend them 😄👍

Our apartment had just been renovated, so everything was great, and the terrace was superb. It was quiet, with no traffic. Really nice place, and I'll come back.
