Sholeo Lodges Maspalomas

We were there for almost a week, and the staff were consistently friendly and explained the “Sholeo” concept to us. The rooms were tidy, and it was easy to adjust the temperature with the air conditioning. The pool was just right, not too crowded, with room for everyone. You could order drinks from the pool bar or the regular bar. The location felt perfect, like a hidden gem. The breakfast plates and dishes could have been cleaner. Sometimes they seemed a little wet or dirty, though hygiene still seemed satisfactory. I'd really recommend the place.

The pool area is a real treat, with plenty of sunbeds plus hammocks and huge cushions for lounging. There are also lots of seating options in the dining area, indoors and outside. I’d love it even more if it were adults-only, but I can’t praise the place highly enough and would be surprised if I stayed anywhere else next time. The apartments have been transformed so much since they were Jardin Del Sol a couple of years ago. The whole complex feels bright, clean and fresh, and the facilities are great. Breakfast has a very good selection, and the staff are excellent and friendly. My room had everything I needed, including comfortable beds and plenty of sockets with USB ports. The shower was lovely, too. Housekeeping was thorough and regular, though not every day, which I prefer.

The walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes and is really nice. The hotel itself was spotless, including the pool and the area around it, and our room was cleaned every third day. There were activities for both young and old. Staff were friendly and took an interest in how guests were enjoying their stay. It’s one of the cleanest, nicest hotels I’ve stayed at, and I’d definitely come back.

During our five-night stay, the room was cleaned only once, on the third day, and that included changing the towels. That was the one thing that let the stay down. Everything else was good. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were very friendly, and I liked the location. Breakfast was lovely, and there was buffet food all day. They also ran different activities each day and had a different two-for-one cocktail each day. Checking in online beforehand makes things quicker, though you can also use the machines at the desk to check yourself in.
