Villa Lovisi 2

The owner responded straight away when we raised a few issues and arranged for them to be fixed or replaced, which was a kind gesture and improved our stay. We spent a midweek here in winter, when it was still around 23 degrees, but the pool got too little sun to warm up and was too cold for more than a couple of minutes in the water. The facilities looked good at first, though a few things became noticeable after a while, including ants on the kitchen counter and some areas that could have been cleaner.

The landlord never returned the deposit we paid on arrival and ignored our messages. I wouldn’t recommend booking with this unreliable landlord. The bedroom and balcony doors were very stiff, and a kitchen appliance wasn’t working.

Villas Lovisi double-booked the house we had chosen, so Mr Lovisi put us in a different one without telling us first. It was a lower-quality place, about 40 minutes from the area we’d picked, with the motorway views and noise, a leaking shower and a washing machine that didn’t work properly. Our holidays in the house we’d carefully chosen weren’t guaranteed. Don’t trust Villas Lovisi. It felt like all they cared about was the money they’d make from us.

It’s been two months since I left the villa and I’m still waiting for my deposit. I haven’t had any reply from them at all. Franco, the owner, shame on you. If you’re man enough, reply to my review and return my deposit. Guys, avoid this place. There are plenty of nicer ones in Gran canaria.
