Villa Maspalomas

For the price, it was a really nice hotel, and I'd happily stay again. I mainly came to scuba dive, and the dive centre picked me up each morning, so the location worked out perfectly, even though it's a bit far from everything and a walk is needed to reach a good restaurant. The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was totally okay, but the €20 dinner buffet felt like a fancy school dinner and wasn't worth the cost. I enjoyed the pool, which you could use at any time, though the lifeguard was there only during the day. WiFi didn't work in my room, so I used my own 5G instead.

We had an amazing holiday in November. The rooms were clean and looked like the pictures. The pool looked beautiful, but we didn't use it because the dunes and Maspalomas beach were so close and amazing. My favorite part was the great food at breakfast and in the hotel restaurant. Thanks to receptionist Alejandro for his help and humor, and to the curly-haired mister waiter/barman for great service. Thanks for a wonderful time!

I went alone to get some solitude and tranquility, and this resort was exactly what I wanted. It was quiet and peaceful, which is why I booked it. The staff were polite, spoke English very well, and were always accommodating, especially Egla at reception.

The pool was lovely and the complex was quiet, and a taxi to Maspalomas beach cost 7€. But there’s nothing to do within walking distance, so next time I’d choose somewhere nearer the beach. I paid extra for a bungalow, only to find they don’t have them. The rooms are split over two levels and could use some updating. Bar service was slow, with one wait of five minutes for a barman, and staff English was very limited. I speak a little Spanish, but at a resort where many guests speak English, staff should be able to communicate with them properly.
