The host was really welcoming and nice. But if you want a quiet night, I’d avoid booking the top room. The sound insulation is poor: a dog barked nearby until 1 a.m., then a rooster started up every five minutes from 5 a.m. Planes were incredibly loud from 6 a.m., taking off and landing at what seems to be a nearby airport.

A calm, pleasant place to stay, kept clean and with a fully equipped kitchen. The bus stop is nearby, making it easy to reach La Laguna centre in about 10 minutes.

The platform asked for my money back, but the property refused, saying I was the one who hadn't shown up at 2 pm. I had booked a check-in between 1 and 2 am. When my friends and I got there, we were told the rooms were full and we couldn't enter until 2 pm, so we ended up sleeping in the car.

The shared rooms were well stocked and spotless, just like the bedrooms. The proprietor also communicated well.
