We loved staying at Villa María and would happily return. It has a cozy, welcoming feel, and you can see the care that goes into making guests comfortable. The villa is full of character, with traditional, slightly vintage interiors that have been kept in very good condition. It offers great value, though anyone after modern luxury or high-end design may find it isn't for them. Breakfast was delicious. The selection wasn't huge, but the quality was excellent: the owner made tasty scrambled eggs, and there was fresh orange juice and chocolate croissants. I only had the decaf coffee, which was exceptionally good, though I'm sure the regular coffee is just as tasty. Muchas gracias por todo, ¡ha sido un placer!

The location is a 10-15 minute walk from the center, which was fine for us. My one concern was getting out onto the main street by car: the junction gives you no view of approaching traffic, and local drivers aren't very thoughtful, so it doesn't feel very safe. Still, the place and host were lovely, and the included breakfasts were delicious. I'd recommend staying here and would come back.

We used this B&B as a base for hiking in the north, with the Anaga mountains and Santa Cruz both close by car. The city is about a 10-minute walk along the lovely Avenida de universidad, and there are lots of good restaurants there. Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. Breakfast was good too, especially the delicious fresh orange juice. We had a lovely stay and really recommend the place 😊

The continental breakfast was tasty, and the host was hospitable. A beautiful, clean place with a distinctive historical interior. An excellent stay at any time.

The owners are really nice and make a great breakfast, including amazing fresh orange juice. The rooms are clean and huge, and there are enough private parking spaces. Great value for money.
