Hotel & Apartments Bahía Sur

Our bungalow was quite nice, though it was odd to see that some of the others had been abandoned. The walkways felt old and cramped, and the parking filled up quickly. The pool area was okay, but it was windy that day.

The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and we had great views from rooms on both sides of the hotel. One looked toward the bungalows and Bahia, while the other faced the car park and Bahia Sound, with views of Bahia too. The location is great, right on top of the commercial centre. The hotel could use some renovation, and noise carries between rooms. The pool was good, and the chiringuito served great cocktails.

The hotel is well placed, with a great view, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. Everything in my room worked. I didn't try the AC because it looked dirty, and I doubt the evaporator or ducts have been cleaned since the hotel was built. Very little seems to have been done to the place over the years. It needs a clear refurbishment plan, including replacing the furniture.

There were ants throughout the apartment, and it smelled of sewage whenever we showered. The cleaning was very poor, and the beds weren't even on the floor, so they made a lot of noise when we tried to sleep. The room was meant for four, but we had only one glass, no cooking facilities, and just two chairs at the dining table. Really disappointing.
