Hotel Madrid

For the price, it would be hard to find somewhere better. The beach really is 50 meters away, with bars and restaurants just as close. It’s a welcoming, convenient little hotel, with clean, well-kept rooms that have what you need. The bed was especially comfortable.

There’s a fridge in the room, but no kettle, which I already knew from a previous visit. The bathroom had all the toiletries and plenty of towels. It’s a basic, spotless one-star Spanish hotel, just 20 meters from the beach.

The location is excellent, and room service was very good, with bathroom supplies kept clean and replenished. The food was good, and the service was clear even for me as a non-Spanish speaker. It’s a nice, cozy hotel that deserves more than one star. The walls can be quite thin, though, and sometimes the menu is limited. The air conditioning could also be stronger.

We paid 120 Euros when we arrived, although Hotel Madrid’s website had quoted 75 Euros. When I complained, they said the website showed old prices and hadn’t been updated. It was getting late, so we stayed, but the room was the worst we had in our two weeks in Spain. Don’t waste your time or money here.
