You can pay for electricity at your pitch, but charging a phone shouldn’t mean spending 7 euros a night. That fee seems meant for campers and people bringing a whole home setup, and there ought to be another option. The camping itself was okay. Still, I’m sharing a warning for other travelers in Spain: this is the only campsite in Europe where I’ve had my power bank stolen while it was charging in the bathroom overnight. I was backpacking on foot and had to cut the trip short afterward, for this and other reasons.

We spent 10 days at Camping Morunys and had a really good time. It’s a great base for hikes, canyoning (www.tirantmilles.com !) and canoeing or swimming in the large reservoir lakes between Morunys and Solsona. The place is good value, with very friendly staff and people around. Most visitors speak Spanish. The sanitary facilities are a little dated, but they’re clean and well looked after, and there’s always hot water. The Spanish Pyrenees around it are beautiful.

The views are stunning, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean, well equipped, and in good condition. A really great camping spot, just perfect!
