Los Arroyos

The patio is a wonderful place to spend the day, even in the Spanish summer heat. The pergola gives it shade from around 4:30 pm, and there’s usually a lovely breeze. The house stays cool downstairs, with its stone walls and beautiful decor. The village feels idyllic, small but lively, and the people are especially hospitable. Its houses have distinctive architecture typical of the village. Inés is attentive, keeps you informed about local events, and helps with whatever you need. The beds are comfortable, and the small attic rooms are cozy and have great views. For visiting the Gredos Mountains and enjoying some quiet, this place is ideal. Sturdy metal sun loungers on the patio would be a nice extra, though not everyone takes care of things, so I understand the risk. I know Inés is thinking about it, hehehe. If you’re lucky enough to find loungers there, please look after them. Stargazing from the patio would be even better, and you’re sure to have a fantastic time.

We slept really well on the comfortable mattresses, and the house has plenty of appliances and kitchenware. It stays cool and comfortable in summer, too. The patio is great for meals, barbecues, or looking at the stars. The hostess was always checking in on us and was very friendly and attentive. Thanks for your hospitality, Inés. It’s a perfect base for enjoying the area, and we highly recommend it.

The rooms are spacious, but the beds are hard and only 1.35 m wide, and the pillows weren’t comfortable. The house itself is beautiful and brand new. The temperature is set by the owner at 20°C and can’t be changed, which felt unbearably hot.

Two couples spent the long weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is beautiful and welcoming, set in a lovely location. The owner is charming and always attentive. Highly recommended.
