The owner was so nice, and gave us a map while explaining the local activities and how to get to them. Our room was clean and comfortable, though a bit small. The hotel itself is charming and cozy, with a beautiful inside patio. Don’t miss the bodega downstairs.

A cozy old bodega turned into a hotel, with a cute courtyard, a gorgeous cat and a homely feel. The wooden floors creak, but that’s part of its charm. The bed is large and comfy, the linen lovely, and the room super clean. There’s AC you can run for an hour to cool things down, and the room stays cool. On weekends they serve a healthy breakfast. Plenty of bars and nice restaurants are nearby, along with cycling and walking. Street parking or a nearby public car park is available. We’ll be back, vamos a volver.

The owner was incredibly friendly and happy to show me around the old wine-making cellar, which is no longer in use, and explain its history and the local winemaking. The place is rustic and peaceful, just right if you want to relax. It’s also in a very convenient location. Have breakfast in the garden if you can.

Last week, we tried to book one night here through booking.com, where the hotel showed as available and let us reserve. But the host said there was no availability. You can handle cash payments however you like, but you shouldn’t waste guests’ time when they’ve travelled from far away. The attitude was rude too. I can understand lashing out when you have no excuse for your mistake, but the main thing is, I don’t feel I can trust them.

A lovely hotel with a beautiful patio and a delicious breakfast. It’s about an hour from Madrid, perfect for a quick getaway. Definitely worth it, highly recommend.
