I can't give this place zero stars, so it's one. I was robbed. After checking out, we realized we'd left a black North Face jacket in the room and called the 24-hour reception an hour and a half later. They kept putting us off. No one came to check the apartment, and they repeated that the cleaning staff hadn't replied to their message. After four hours of repeated calls, trying to get the jacket before another guest arrived, we went to reception, which is only open from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Edgar, who isn't the 24-hour receptionist, helped us, and his service was and remains EXEMPLARY. They said they'd check the security cameras the next day, but didn't. NO ONE OTHER THAN THE CLEANING STAFF COULD HAVE BEEN IN THERE. The following afternoon we came back to fill out a complaint form. We'll file a formal complaint this week. We tried during the trip, but that would have meant waiting four hours at the Civil Guard station, and we couldn't waste more of the island trip seeing nothing but this damn hotel. I'm going to sue for damages. They said they'd review the cameras on Monday, another lie. Not one manager would call to explain or even offer a simple apology. On top of that, I couldn't sleep properly during my week there because the bed springs dug into me. I asked to change rooms on Wednesday, and they said they'd try to move me Thursday. The next day they refused because I was leaving Friday, and ignored me. The service was appalling. They were unlucky I didn't leave the island after checking out and stayed all weekend. We're going to get to the bottom of this so nobody else is wronged again. A TERRIBLE hotel experience. If you're here for work or travel and stay overnight, I promise you'll lose time, money, and sleep.
