The hotel was clean, with parking usually available close by. There’s a spacious dining room and outdoor seating, though we didn’t sit outside because the mornings were cold. Breakfast and dinner choices were decent enough. The open, airy entrance looks toward the pool, and reception staff were there to welcome us and get us settled. For a four-star hotel, though, this fell short for me. Other places of that rating have nearly felt like five-star, while this felt more like three-star. During our four-day stay, we happened to be there during a strike. Rooms weren’t cleaned for two days because of staff shortages, although towels were changed. The room itself was very plain and basic, without even a cushion. The kettle cord was so short we had to set it on the floor to reach a socket. We had a sea view, but the sliding doors wouldn’t shut fully, leaving a loud hissing sound from the sea. Someone checked it and said it was a problem in most rooms. We found that opening the doors a bit more reduced the noise. The hotel across from ours played very loud music until 11pm, which we could hear in our room and found annoying when trying to sleep. We couldn’t decide which was worse, the hiss or the music. I wouldn’t stay again for these reasons. It’s not close to the popular beaches, though evenings still have a buzz. A supermarket opposite was handy for water and other supplies, as tap water isn’t suitable for drinking. After the room went uncleaned for a second day, we spoke to staff, and that may be why the two glasses of wine from our stay were removed from the bill.

I was after a few peaceful days in the sun, and that’s what I got here. The location is especially convenient for golfers, though I don’t play. It’s close to the airport, and the bus transfer was quick and easy, straight to the door. The hotel was great, though it could use a little updating here and there, as most places can. Breakfast was really nice, with all you could want, and we tried the spa too. It was very good and reasonably priced.

The hotel’s view was stunning, and we ate delicious food throughout our stay. We were busy exploring the island, so didn’t get around to trying all the facilities, but it was a lovely place to come back to and unwind. We had a great time at Hotel Tenerife Golf and Sea View.

The bed was comfortable, and our room was spacious, attractive, and had a lovely sea view with beautiful sunrises and light. Staff were very friendly. The bathroom fittings were old and heavily worn. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful, but had the feel of canteen food.

This is a friendly, relaxed, clean hotel in a fantastic spot on the edge of Golf de Sur resort. I’ve stayed twice and recommend it for a quiet winter-sun break. The staff are excellent and always willing to help. The beds are really comfortable, and though parts of the rooms, especially the bathrooms, look dated, it didn’t spoil the stay for me. I also value that the hotel has won sustainability awards, since I want to support businesses making that effort.
