There aren’t any shops close by, so bring things like salt, spices, dish soap, charcoal and trash bags. You’ll need to put in some work to clean the grill, too. The smell from the horses and other animals is strong at first, though you do get used to it. The house itself is lovely, and having a private bathroom in every spacious bedroom was especially handy for our big group. I’d stay there again, knowing what to expect. Getting there was a different story. We followed the owners’ directions but got lost and kept going by GPS. After that, the route was chaos, with a rocky dirt track and bushes everywhere, and we kept scraping the car’s undercarriage. A drive meant to take 8 minutes took us 45, and it was dark with no visibility.

The place is near the stables, and the manure smell is really strong. We also spent a long time trying to find the right way there. The house is pretty, but the owners’ communication was absolutely awful. They only told us 20 minutes ahead whether an early arrival or late departure was possible, and nobody greeted us. That’s unacceptable. I WOULD NOT RETURN.

Nobody was there when we arrived. We called the person managing the house to ask about checking in early, but they didn’t reply until 15 minutes before we got there. Terrible. The stable is very close, and the manure smell is strong. The house is nice, though a little run-down. I wouldn’t go back.

The pool’s saltwater, but it was dirty, with a greenish tint on the walls and floor. Its filter kept beeping and showing “add salt.” The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The living room felt a bit small for a large group. We were charged €150 for cleaning, yet had to wash all the dirty dishes when we arrived. The worst part happened the day after we left, when my friend realized she’d forgotten her glasses. The owner kept putting her off and wouldn’t answer the phone. When she finally picked up a call from another number, she said my friend would have to pay for a day’s rent if she wanted to come back and get them.
