Charming 4-Bed Villa in San Roque

I really like the course layout and have played here before, but this time the greens were in very bad shape. They were very wet, though it seemed like something else was affecting them too. There's no driving range, and the clubhouse is temporary, hopefully just for now. The range and clubhouse at San Roque old Course are nearby, though.

The tempura shrimp was beautifully done and better than I expected. We had a fantastic meal with superb service and a breathtaking view over a meticulously maintained professional golf course.

The facilities are excellent, and even as a visitor I felt very welcome among the members and staff. I played the new course on my last visit and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to trying the old course later this year.

The food at this golf clubhouse was probably the worst I've ever had. We paid $60 for a frozen burger, a lamb wrap and one drink each. I rarely leave a restaurant wishing I'd gone to a Burger King drive-through instead. It'd be a joke if it weren't so sad.
