The sea views towards Tenerife are breathtaking, and the hotel has plenty on offer, including pools, restaurants, and bars. It's a huge resort-style place just outside San Sebastián de La Gomera, so it feels grand and busy rather than small or intimate. The views and facilities are strong, though the scale and remote-ish location mean it suits people who plan ahead, especially if they rent a car or mostly stay put. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with big beds, a minibar, and an in-room safe. The bathroom setup puts the toilet in a frosted glass enclosure inside the room, which may not work for everyone if privacy or sound matters to you. There's no room service. You order and eat at the outlets, though charging it to your room is easy by giving your room number. We really missed having a small shop for basics like sunscreen, deodorant, or snacks. Staff were friendly and quick to help. Reception sorted out our air conditioning and internet/Chromecast problems promptly. Renting a car through the hotel was straightforward and affordable, and made exploring much easier. Getting to the many good restaurants in central San Sebastián is less convenient: a taxi costs €12-20 each way, and late at night we sometimes waited up to an hour for one back. Most drivers take cards, and a little insistence usually helps if one doesn't. The buffet area works, but feels a bit like a big school canteen, not very cosy or atmospheric for such a grand hotel.

The hotel is modern, in a lovely setting near the city, with beautiful sea views and several pools overlooking the water. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There's plenty to do, from the fitness center and billiards area to a large cinema room where football matches are often shown. The hotel also runs on solar panels and is surrounded by lush nature, including a small nature park. La Gomera National Park is about a 30-minute drive away and is worth visiting. The food was quite good, though the restaurant staff didn't always seem professional. I was asked how I wanted my fish cooked, and even after asking for it well done, I often got it undercooked. Some staff, especially in the spa, could also be a bit lazy. It would be handy to have free water available around the hotel. Right now you have to get it from the restaurant or pay for what's in the room fridge. Complimentary bottles by the pools would make things easier.

We visited in December 2024 and were impressed right from the start. The setting is wonderfully quiet, great for relaxing without disturbance, and renting a car at the hotel was easy and very fairly priced, which made planning trips simple. The service was exceptional throughout, with staff who were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The food was a real highlight too. The buffet had terrific quality, freshness, and variety, the best we've ever had, and everything tasted and looked fantastic. We also loved the SPA. It's beautifully designed, spotless, and carefully thought through, with treatments and relaxation areas that made it easy to unwind and recharge. It was a wonderful stay, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for the unforgettable time!

We went in the third week of February 2026 and would most likely return. The island is fantastic, with great hiking routes, many no more than one kilometer each way and safe even for kids aged 3-4. The hotel is far from everything, so a car is indispensable. Book about a week ahead if you can, demand is high. We didn't look for hotel entertainment or try the spa, since we preferred to explore the island, so I can't rate those. There wasn't a feeling of overcrowding, and everything ran smoothly. The staff were nice, helpful, and always smiling. Denisa at reception was exceptional, and Myryam was just as helpful and kind. The hotel opened in 2024 and is built in steps on a scenic rock, with 11 levels. We asked for a top-floor room and got a completely open 360-degree view of the sea and cliffs, with Teide to the left. February sunrises were around 7:30, a decent time to wake up. Our so-called family suite was two full rooms joined by a door. The facilities were excellent: good cosmetics, a spacious forest shower with strong pressure and fairly steady temperature, quality towels, and lots of storage so we could keep our suitcases shut. The one drawback was the toilet, separated from the room only by thick glass walls, so privacy wasn't great. That might feel odd or unromantic for a new couple, but should be fine for families. Restaurant food was decent, though repetitive at times, and the grill could depend a lot on which staff member was working. It didn't quite feel all-inclusive, even when some dishes could have been better. Sweets were very good, and there was always at least one decent dish. Drinks weren't included and were pricey. We avoided paying for water because there was an osmosis water fountain near the patio; staff didn't object when kids filled their own bottles. Pools were nice, all with direct views of Teide and Tenerife. Food at Tamara terace was decent if you only have half board. There wasn't much entertainment for kids, though that wasn't needed while exploring the island. More affordable toys would be a welcome improvement.

The setting and architecture are beautiful, and the hotel has fantastic facilities, views, food, three azure pools, and lovely places to sit and relax. Reception and spa staff were fantastic too. We really enjoyed our stay thanks to all those things, though a couple of details could be better. At breakfast and dinner, buffet staff serving drinks often left us waiting 10-15 minutes. Even after eye contact, they'd pick up other plates first and sometimes forget us completely. It felt awkward having to make a fuss, and it was a relief when they finally came over because we didn't want to seem impatient. The room cleaners mostly forgot to replace the milk and creamer, even after we asked the day before and left a note that was ignored. As British people, that meant we couldn't make hot drinks on some days. The room was otherwise well made up. Fixing those two things would make a great stay perfect.
