Casa Zaida couldn’t honor our original reservation, which was disappointing. We’d booked well ahead for one night, but then got an email saying there had been errors with the rate and minimum stay. They were now requiring four nights at €60 per night. We planned to hike a circuit around La Gomera and didn’t intend to spend more than one night in any place, so this change was very inconvenient. It also went against the terms we’d agreed to when booking in advance the previous year. I’m disappointed they insisted on changing the booking at short notice.

A very peaceful, pleasant place about 15 minutes from the port. The house is cozy and has everything you need. The owner was very kind and even gave us mangoes from his trees.

The owners were so attentive and nice, and gave us avocados and peppers. The house has everything you need and is in a great location. We’ll definitely return.
