Atotxa Rooms

The warning before we arrived mentioned “temporarily obstructed views” from scaffolding. In reality, there was a whole construction site right outside our balcony. Workers were directly outside the room looking in, leaving us with no privacy. With active construction and no safety barriers, the balcony felt unsafe. This was much more than an obstructed view, and the situation hadn't been properly explained beforehand. The room wasn't usable as advertised, and we had real concerns about both safety and privacy. Calling this “obstructed views” doesn't make placing guests beside an active construction zone acceptable. Extremely disappointing. I wouldn't recommend staying while the work is going on.

The room was small, but had everything we needed. The location is ideal, right by the train and bus stations, and about a 15-minute walk from the old town.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. It's right beside the train and bus stations, with Gros, Old Town, and La Concha all within walking distance.

Alba and Ane at reception were so friendly, upbeat, and helpful. The room was large enough, the bed super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well for heating. I chose the place because it's very close to the train station, and the price seemed fair for San Sebastian. There's also a coffee machine and kettle. One tea or coffee a day is free, and extra ones cost €0.50.
