Cristina Enea Rooms

The building and its surroundings aren’t the best, although it has everything you need. The room and service were amazing, and the location is good if you’re thinking of the station itself. Extra star for the shower 🤍

The price is good, so I might stay again. We didn’t see the gangs mentioned in earlier reviews and didn’t feel uneasy. Inside, the rooms are spotlessly clean and thoughtfully laid out. The bed is comfortable, the large window has electric shutters and blinds, and there’s a free coffee machine, shared space, snack and water vending machine, free WiFi, and a safe in the room. Irons and hairdryers are available, the staff are lovely, and it’s a short walk over the river to the centre. It’s a bit of a mad place, though. The building is the ugliest I’ve ever seen, and the area doesn’t fit with San Sebastián’s main areas. The rooms get noisy because their doors open onto the communal space. Also, I was charged £16 for four bottles of water from the machine !!!

The rooms are modern and beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and pillows. The shower has excellent water pressure, and we loved coming back each night after a day out. It’s about a 10 minute walk to either the old town or the beach, along a pleasant route. Check in is self service, which is a little different, but we could leave our luggage at reception until our afternoon flight. The three of us women had no safety concerns. We actually enjoyed walking through residential neighborhoods on the way to the tourist spots.

We used the discounted parking next door, including some electric car charging, and it worked perfectly. Online check in was seamless, the hotel was spotless, and the common area was well equipped and maintained. They were always available online when we had questions or concerns. It’s a little outside the busy center, but an easy 15 minute walk along the river gets you to the action. The building is ugly, but you can’t actually see it from where you stay, and this is a fantastic place in San Sebastian. I can’t recommend Cristina Enea Rooms highly enough and look forward to visiting again.
