Leonardo Hotel San Sebastian

For the price, this hotel was better than I expected. It's modern and clean, and I really liked the room's design. I slept perfectly, with no noise from anywhere overnight. The old city is a bit far, but you can get there by bus or car in 15 min, so that wasn't an issue. I'd recommend it 100%.

We appreciated having parking at the hotel, and getting into the city center was easy with a bus stop right out front. There's also a train stop a few minutes' walk away. The rooms were extremely clean, and the staff were super accommodating when we chose to extend our stay. We'd definitely come back!

The modern facilities were clean and comfortable, and our room was well designed, a relaxing place to come back to after sightseeing. Staff were attentive and friendly, ready with recommendations and anything else we needed. We spent 3 nights at Leonardo Hotel San Sebastián from 24-27 August, and had an excellent stay. Its location made it easy to explore Donostia-San Sebastián and enjoy the city. San Sebastián is beautiful, and staying here made our trip even better. I'd happily recommend it for either a short break or a longer visit.

The breakfast was disappointing for what it cost, and I wouldn't stay here again. I booked a double bed for my partner and me, with no warning during booking that it might not be possible. On arrival, we got two single beds, which we never would have booked if we'd known. I raised it with reception straight away. They said they'd sort it the next morning, but nothing changed. When I asked again, I got barely an apology and was told it might be fixed for our final night. That's unacceptable. The poor communication and reluctance to resolve a straightforward problem felt dishonest and unprofessional, and the service and transparency were below what I expect.
