We slept comfortably even though the bars downstairs could get noisy at night. The windows cut out quite a lot of the sound. The owner was very sweet and offered to do my laundry for free, which I really appreciated. Sharing bathrooms wasn’t an issue: there are only six rooms and three bathrooms, and one was always available. There’s no A/C, just a working fan. Mid-August was fine for us because we had rainy days, but I’m not sure how much hotter San Sebastian gets. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the location is superb. For staying in San Sebastian, I’d choose the old town. I’d highly recommend this place.

The rooms and shared bathrooms were neat and clean, and the staff were extremely nice. We faced a busy street in the old town, so it was noisy, although the windows cut a lot of it. You’ll still need earplugs. The bigger problem was the other guests. They kept banging doors and chatting in the shared corridor all night, and we couldn’t get a proper sleep. They had no respect for anyone else staying there.

Such a great price, and we loved Susana and her husband. They were incredibly kind to us, and we’d come back just for them. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the Pension is perfectly placed for walking to everything. Definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed nine nights and loved it there. It was extremely clean, close to the beach, and the staff were lovely. Suzanna was a wonderful host. I’d highly recommend it.
