Hotel Punta Monpás

We didn’t end up staying, so I can’t say how comfortable the beds would have been, but the rooms looked great and were very clean. The location right by the beach, with a sunset view, is superb. What stood out most was the service. At check-in, after seeing my 2y old toddler’s passport, the staff told us there’d be a loud concert or music festival directly in front of the hotel until 2am. We had a non-refundable booking, but they let us cancel with a full refund and even helped with the process. The ladies were super nice and charming. Highly recommended.

From my second-floor room I had a beautiful beach view, and the location made it easy to get to the beach. The old town is about a 15 walk away, along a pleasant route by the beach. The staff were wonderful, the room was clean, and the A/C worked quietly. The shower pressure was good, and there were bike hire stations nearby.

The staff went above and beyond to help, sharing city maps and suggestions for sights and places to eat, plus transport tips for somewhere we couldn’t walk to. Breakfast was included, simple and delicious. Our clean, comfortable room had AC and a small desk for work, though there weren’t any extra toiletries. It’s right on the beach, beside a pizza place, a small bar, and a playground. The hotel is away from San Sebastian’s old town, which made for a nice break from the busy area. It’s a perfect little hotel in a wonderful spot, and we’d highly recommend it.

I was disappointed to arrive and be told there was no breakfast, even though I’d paid for it. They gave my money back, but I don’t like having to get up and go out to find breakfast. The location was great, it was clean, and the service and staff were great.
