I’m on a motorcycle trip around Spain, Portugal, and the Picos, and this was my first stop after getting off the ferry. I arrived after 4 pm with no symptoms. The next day, while riding, I started noticing itching. When I got to my next stop and showered, I saw how bad it was: I’d been bitten all over by bed bugs. I know what that’s like because it happened to me on a trip to Thailand. I was in room number 1. The owner once replied to a review saying this is the only platform where someone can post without proving they stayed. I’ve attached part of a screenshot as proof I was there. Now I’m taking antihistamines and constantly putting on steroid cream so I can get some sleep. And here’s a photo of room 1 😕

The hotel was comfortable and spotless, and the room was simple but had what we needed. The problem was the cold. We asked for the heating, but it only came on at 10 pm when we arrived to sleep, then shut off at 11. There wasn’t time for the room to warm up.

Parking was a real plus, and breakfast on the terrace was delicious with lovely views. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, always smiling. Thank you! It’s a great spot to switch off and take in the estuary, mountains, and Picos de Europa peaks. You can walk down to the beach easily for lunch or dinner. Best regards.

We had the attic, which felt spacious as soon as we walked in, and it was very clean. Virginia and her mother were consistently kind and professional, helping us with whatever we needed. The location is a little outside the center, which worked really well when driving. We avoided traffic but were still only minutes from town, with a peaceful setting. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
