We paid 15€ per night to bring our dog, and got our 100€ deposit back within 24 hours of checking out. Check-in is listed as 5pm, but our place was ready early and we were allowed in at 4pm at no extra cost. Check-out is 11am, and the rules ask you to leave the place clean. We booked a studio for two nights and really liked the setup for a holiday or weekend in San Vicente. It’s close to the beach, pet friendly, and has two outdoor pools, one for adults and one for kids. Each house has its own parking space, plus an outdoor table and chairs and a garden area with sun loungers. We’ll definitely come back!

The pool is only open in summer, but the studio is very close to the beach and worked well for our family of four with young kids. It has what you need. The bathroom looks nice, though the bathtub isn’t very practical compared with a shower, and when the sofa is in use it’s hard to get past it from the bedroom. There’s only one hook in the bathroom, so a few more for towels would help.

The area was peaceful and the accommodation has potential, but the way problems and the deposit were handled was very disappointing and unclear. They kept our full €250 deposit for supposed damage, based only on their own assessment, without providing an invoice, estimate or independent review, even though we had reported issues from the start. There were ants in the room, the bathroom sliding door had problems, and Booking.com hadn’t told us beforehand that the water is NOT POTABLE. The bigger issue began with the tilt-and-turn bedroom door, which was already hard to open and close when we arrived, as if its mechanism had been faulty before. Later it came off its hinges and couldn’t be closed. We reported it right away, but no immediate fix was offered. We couldn’t use or sleep in the main bedroom that night. We were moved to another room only late the next afternoon, once they decided the door couldn’t be repaired then.

We’re leaving tomorrow and I’m already sad about it. The beds are comfortable, and our cabin was clean, tidy, new and really nice. I’d read the bad reviews before booking and was worried about coming, but I’m glad we did. Everything was fantastic for us, at least in the cabin we stayed in. The one thing I missed was a broom and dustpan, plus a mop and bucket. With kids along, you know how it goes 😥 WE WILL BE BACK.
