Apartamentos Sanlúcar & Doñana

We’ve come back several times. The apartment is reasonably well equipped and maintained, and the complex facilities, including the swimming pool, are in excellent condition. Yolanda and her team are very attentive.

We stayed for eight days in July 2023, and the apartment and rental company were faultless. Everything we needed was there. Jose was kind and helpful, with lots of advice about the area. Two kitchen items we needed were replaced that same morning with new, good-quality ones. The homeowners’ association, though, has very strict and ridiculous rules for the shared spaces and pool. You get told off, especially by the gardener in the mornings, for walking on the grass by the pool in sneakers instead of flip-flops, rinsing sand off a toy with shower water, or leaving a sun lounger in the pool, even when it’s empty, while you go to get bread. It seems the owners are fed up with tenants in the rental apartments.

The apartment is close to Bajo de Guia, with excellent mattresses and air conditioning in the living room. The bedrooms have remote-controlled fans. During the stay, cleaning includes a weekly change of towels and bed linens. The spacious, well-kept shared areas have a pool, paddle tennis courts, and a playground for children.

The complex around the apartments is fantastic, with paddle tennis courts and a garden area kept impressively well by Paqui and her partner. Our apartment had everything we needed and a terrace overlooking the pool. We’ve loved our time in Sanlúcar and will definitely recommend it.
