I especially liked the pool and garden, both really beautiful, and the hotel's efforts to be sustainable. They sorted the rubbish carefully and put towels out in the sun instead of running dryers. The stay felt relaxing and homelike, and we were made to feel very welcome. Thanks so much. The room was clean and roomy, the staff were warm, and parking was free. The beach is close, and a large Carrefour is about a 10-minute drive away. For the price, it was a good stay. I've stayed at Hilton Barcelona before, and I liked Hostal Santa Gemma much more. There was a strong bleach smell in the hallway in the morning, though it reassured me that things had been disinfected. The detergent scent on the sheets was strong too, but it faded after a day. One small suggestion: indoor shoes would have helped, since it was rainy and we came in with sandy shoes from outside.

It's in a quiet spot, and the hotel is simple, neat, and clean. The rooms aren't fancy, but they were super clean, and breakfast was generous and tasty. I'd especially recommend it if you're traveling with dogs. I've never seen hotel staff so friendly toward dogs.

We felt welcome, and the service was excellent. The staff also gave us useful tips about the area, and the balcony had a lovely view. Free parking was a real bonus here. For the price, it was great and I really have no complaints. If you're a light sleeper, maybe bring earplugs, since sound carries from neighboring rooms if you happen to have noisy neighbors.

The staff were really friendly, and the cozy rooms have heaters for colder months. Just bring earplugs, because you can hear a lot from the corridor and neighboring rooms. The hotel is near the train station, though the walk there is a bit awkward. Walking along the beach may be the best way. For the price, it was a great hotel.

Really loved the atmosphere here. The staff are so warm and friendly, the room is well equipped, and the pool is amazing for soaking up the sun :)
