Hotel Brisa - Adults only

One small annoyance was the bed: we had two singles pushed together instead of a double or queen, and they kept sliding apart. Is that a local custom? It’s happened in every hotel we’ve stayed at in Ibiza. Apart from that, it was a fab, good-value stay. The guests and staff were fun and friendly, though maybe that’s just the place. The room was surprisingly quiet given the number of partygoers, the balcony was perfect for evening cava, and the hotel felt safe and clean. Calm staff were patrolling the floor. The negative reviews don’t match our experience, and some are hard to believe, like the one about paying £45 for a slice of toast.

The rooms were a bit dated, but we knew that when we booked. They had what we needed, apart from a fridge. It’s definitely a party hotel, and there can be noise. We called reception once to complain, and they went and dealt with it immediately. The poolside was lovely, the hotel itself really modern, and there was loads of food to choose from. I’d say it’s worth more than two stars and a bargain for what you get. As two girls, we felt safe and enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend.

The reception ladies are a real asset to the team. They let us extend our stay by a few days and arranged a later checkout too. Perfect location and friendly staff. I’ve used brisa a few times now and will definitely use them again.

The only thing that helped us was getting a late checkout until 7pm. We hadn’t done our homework before booking and massively regretted the holiday. The staff were really rude, especially the cleaners, the rooms were ancient, and the location wasn’t great. Stay away from this hotel.
