The sound carries a lot between rooms. I could hear people moving around and talking next door, and it was probably the noisiest place I’ve stayed. At least the price made sense for a private budget room in Ibiza, as long as you don’t expect much more. I booked directly through the website and got a better price than on other platforms. Check-in was easy, reception was welcoming, and the elevator was handy for the upper floors. The room itself was very basic, though. There was no fridge, which felt surprising in Ibiza’s summer heat. The air conditioning showed an error. Reception got it working for a while after I mentioned it on the first night, but it stopped again when I took out and put back the electricity key card. The same thing happened the following day, and I didn’t keep pursuing it. The shower head was broken, so I had to hold it above my head. I’d expect the cleaners to notice and report that. The balcony also felt easy to access from the neighbouring ones, so remember to lock its door and close the curtains when you go out. There was a TV, but I had to ask reception for its remote. I wasn’t told about breakfast or offered any, and if it was available, it wasn’t clearly advertised. Fixing the air conditioning, replacing broken fittings and improving the basic security would make the stay much better.

I’ve stayed here twice lately and was happy both times. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was great. For my second visit I asked if I could have a room with a balcony, and they gave me one.

I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel. The staff were rude and grouchy, shouted at us, and weren’t helpful. They wouldn’t let us eat or drink our own things anywhere in the hotel. They also sat talking about us right in front of us and gave us dirty looks. Our room was never cleaned, and before checkout time, security or cleaning staff let themselves in while we were asleep to tell us to leave. If I could give it zero stars, I would!

I was charged for a stay I never used. Each time I call, they say there’s no manager, and they’re still holding on to the money without trying to resolve it. This feels like a total scam. Keep your money safe and stay away.
