They were flexible about our arrival, which mattered because we got there after 2 am. The accommodation has a coffee machine and elevator, and it was a pleasant stay for us since we only used it to sleep. It’s good value and well placed near the train station. Trains run often, even at weekends, and the ride takes 23 minutes. There’s also a very good bakery nearby. The bathroom could use more wall hooks. There was just one double hook, not enough for our beach towels, so things ended up hanging everywhere.

It’s a clean, inexpensive hotel, handy for the train into and out of Barcelona and a taxi to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a bad smell that we didn’t mention until checkout, in true British style, but they said they’d look into it. The rooms on the upper floors were nicer, so ask for one.

It was a decent hostal, nothing amazing, but definitely okay. The cleanliness wasn't great, though it seemed about what you'd expect.

Being right beside the train station was the best part of the stay. The hotel itself was lovely and very clean, and we had a great experience.
