Hotel SB Win 4 Sup

The room was a reasonable size and relatively clean, though some trash on the floor had been missed. The washbasin is in the room beside the bed rather than in the bathroom. For a four-star hotel, it didn’t quite live up to the rating, maybe two stars plus.

There’s a supermarket close by, and a nice bakery just across the road. Public buses into the city are nearby and convenient, and the airport is fairly close too. The hotel itself was quiet and comfortable, with a reasonable price. A great place for an overnight stay, and somewhere I’d return to.

The walls are so thin I ended up hearing more about the neighbors’ sleeping habits than I wanted. The rooms smelled of mildew and old shower water, and the air felt stale, like it hadn’t been fresh since the building went up. Getting any sleep was out of the question: the “meeting area” works like a nightclub, with music thumping late into the night. The staff were rude and arrogant, with little basic courtesy, and as a young traveler I was made to feel like I should be grateful just to be let in. The pillows were like bricks, the food tasted as if it came from a microwave in 1997, and the atmosphere felt more like a punishment facility than a hotel. Calling it a scam is almost too kind, since even scammers have some charm. Four stars for this dump? I wouldn’t give it four minutes of my life again. Save your money and your sanity. I wouldn’t let my dog stay here either, it would feel cruel.

The area felt safe, though the location isn’t ideal for reaching central Barcelona, and the train station is about 10-15 minutes away. My room was small and poorly ventilated, but I still had a really pleasant stay. The hotel is truly beautiful, and the pool was stunning with a fantastic view. I highly recommend it.
