The WiFi was there, but we couldn't use it. Apart from that, this is a fantastic old villa in secluded countryside, though the restoration feels a little questionable. There's a pool and fairly modern comforts inside, with a charming village, wooded hills and volcanoes nearby. The host speaks English and was helpful and easy to communicate with. Especially good if you're into cross-country biking.

The outdoor area is spacious, tidy and well cared for, and the pool is great on hot days. Inside, the spaces are neat and minimalist, with everything needed for a stay. I'd come back a thousand times.

We were 10 people, and the house had all the equipment we needed. The bedrooms were fantastic, while the dining and living rooms worked perfectly well. It's also a great base, close to lots of interesting places. We'll definitely return.

There was a small snag with the inner door: it shut suddenly with our keys still inside and wouldn't open. A very kind neighbor saw us struggling and helped get it open. The place itself was spectacular, clean and welcoming, and when we asked for a football, the service was excellent and they brought one straight away. A perfect base for northern Catalonia or La Garrotxa.
