Can Parés

The pool was great, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and spacious. We felt more like friends of the hardworking family than guests. Anna was wonderful, and we nearly took the kittens home in our luggage when we checked out. I've stayed in plenty of Airbnb places, and this is easily one of the best.

We stayed in El Taller, which works really well for families, with its own exit to the backyard, generous space, a large bathroom, and even Netflix on the TV. The recently renovated building still has its rustic feel, with stone walls and wooden beams. The location is close to Girona but has the calm of the countryside, and the pool is a lovely spot to unwind in the Catalan sun. Breakfast gave us a taste of Girona, with fruit, sausages, cheese, and bread. I especially liked Anna's coffee. Anna and her family were wonderful hosts, always making sure we felt at home and well looked after. You can tell she loves what she does. We'll be back soon!

The kids loved the animals and had lots of room to run and play, so they wanted to stay longer. We felt at home with these lovely people, and I'm grateful for the way they treated us. Our room was very clean and pleasant, with comfortable beds, and it was cleaned every day. They made a real effort to provide a vegan breakfast with plenty of choices: fresh fruit and orange juice every morning, homemade marmalade, toast, tea, avocado, plant-based milk, and oats. We could also use the shared kitchen with its fridge and stove. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place. ❤️

We came back a year later, and the little pool they'd added was a nice touch. Breakfast is even better now, and Ana and her family are just as friendly as before. They really look after the place and their guests, which makes staying here a pleasure. It's a spotless, welcoming family casa with beautiful views, a very comfortable room, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was so good. If we're in the area again, we'll return. Highly recommended!
