It's a home-cooked food restaurant. We turned up without a reservation, and maybe the holiday left them a bit overwhelmed. We appreciated that they found room for us, but after that we were largely neglected. There were four of us, and only two dishes arrived first. We waited a long time for the rest, and by then some people had already finished eating. The same thing happened with dessert. The food was decent overall, but one dish wasn't good. You could see the meat didn't look right, and it tasted strange. When we mentioned it, they brought us another dish.

What a great find. The portions are generous, and the food gets 10/10. The service was 10/10 too. Ambience gets 8/10, with moderate noise from the number of tables. The meatball stew was very good, and the stewed pig's trotters with turnips were spectacular. I'd recommend booking on weekends.
