6/10
The room is lovely and clearly put together with care, and the hotel is attractive inside, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. It’s in a nice, quiet spot close to the center. The bathroom cleaning was so superficial that there were hairs, both small and long, along the floor edges, in the shower, by the toilet, and even on the towels. The toilet seat also had stains that could easily have been wiped off. It really didn’t look like anyone had cleaned it properly. It’s a shame, because the room itself is beautiful, but the bathroom should never be left in that state. The other issue was the owner’s manner. He came across as strict and irritated, with a passive aggressive attitude that made us uncomfortable, even though he didn’t say anything outright. I’d suggest rethinking how guests are treated. That sort of behavior can lead to more problems, and unhappy customers could mean losing a lot of business.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean. They followed all the Covid-era procedures, which helped me feel safe. My room was small for a double bed, but it worked fine. What I really didn’t enjoy was the breakfast and dinner.

It’s fairly central, and the staff are friendly and helpful, but the room gets too hot in summer without air conditioning. The food was pretty awful, judging by the photo of a local sausage dish with hardly anything alongside it. After reading more reviews, though, it sounds like their cannelloni is good.

Such a nice place, and probably the best hotel in town. The people, the setting, the food, all great.

We loved our stay. The hotel was clean and peaceful, and our room was warm and had everything we needed. The only thing I missed was a full-length mirror, perhaps on the entrance wall shared with the bathroom in room 106. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. It’s very well placed for visiting Sant Hilari, and also Arbúcies or Espinelves, especially at this time of year, which is why we came. We were welcomed and sent off with a smile, very pleasantly. Thanks so much, see you next time! 🎄🥂🥰
